We all have one or two valuables that we would like to hide. However, criminals often know exactly where to look. Also, the drawer by the front door or the sock drawer are not the greatest hiding places -everyone has thought of them! Thieves tend to head straight for the main bedroom in a house, looking for jewelry or money, as well as the sitting room and the office, looking for electronic devices or anything that can be easily sold on. Here are a few original places and ways to hide your valuable objects.
1) Hide your keys behind a picture frame near the door.
2) Slip important documents into the vacuum cleaner.

3) Hide things in a fake vent.

4) Inside a step of the stairs

5) Plant something in the garden and use a pine cone to mark the top of it.

6) A drawer with a fake base

7) The toy room is probably one of the last places that will be ransacked (but on the other hand, make sure your children aren’t likely to find anything you don’t want them to!)

8) Take advantage of gaps between furniture or two drawers.
