When you move into a new house, we pay attention to all the details, from top to bottom, including the furniture and every little decorative object. On the other hand, when it comes to the shower curtain, we can be somewhat less attentive! Frogs, fish and other marine characters can proudly adorn our shower curtains, and we never seem to think twice about it.
However, in Kati Heifner’s case, the shower curtain was quite simply transformed into a work of art. Having fallen in love with a beautiful octopus design she saw on a shower curtain, she had to have it, and it ended up in her living room! And it didn’t take her much time either. Accompanied by her husband (and their adorable dogs who were eager to help), she cut up a few wooden planks to create a structure on to which she could mount the shower curtain.
Here are a few photos of this original project, which will make you look at your shower curtain in a whole new light, and may inspire you with a few ideas for showing off your favourite designs on the wall, regardless of their origins.
