Many people dream of having a swimming pool. For those who crack, they are generally delighted (if sometimes completely broke following their investment), and love to be able to splash around, do lengths (even if they are short) or to dive from diving boards. But for those who have the budget, the results can be incredible! This pool in Springville, Utah, is called “the Mountain”, which can be interpreted in two ways: firstly it is hidden in the mountains and secondly it is enormous!
Behind this amazing project are diving enthusiasts who wanted to be able to practice their preferred sport all year round, and at the same time have a family pool that integrates well with its stunning natural environment. This pool measures 42 meters long, 18 meters wide and 8 meters deep at certain points.
As we would have expected, at a cost of 2 million dollars (being 1,695,410.43 euro at the time this article was written), it is an incredible installation. As well as having two bridges, the swimming pool has 5 waterfalls at varying heights, which can be jumped from, as well as tunnels dug into the cement galleries that serve as water slides. Another secret tunnel also allows for amazing diving, with hidden caves behind the waterfalls enclosing a kitchen and a changing room where you can shower and use the toilet.

The pool offers numerous activities: sliding in the tunnels, diving from waterfalls, deep diving and allowing yourself to be carried by the currents.
