Anyone who has ever had the good (or bad) fortune to live in a big city for a while has probably come face to face with this problem: unless you have a huge budget, it is difficult to find a place to live with enough space. Madrid is no exception, and this is how this young man found himself in a living space of only 7m². In such a situation, paying through the nose for a tiny living space can make you feel sick to your stomach.
Faced with such a situation, you need to give a great deal of thought to how to optimise your space. We have already showed you how a woman lives in a tiny apartment of only 8 m², who made the most of her living space with sliding doors. In this Madrid studio, the high ceiling (5 meters) has been used in an ingenious way. The team of architects from the MYCC office turned the space into a mini duplex on two floors in order to create space. The result is attractive and airy and the decor is modern and stylish. As well as a well equipped kitchen corner, a bright office, a comfortable room and a calm living space, the owner also has an elegant bathroom, including a spacious bath, a shower and a toilet.
