If you are looking for something that will occupy the kids and that is an easy craft project which makes a fun toy at the end, then this is the tutorial for you! A colourful spinner that is made using recycled materials, all you need to do is spin it to see the colours move.
What you will need:
- Cardboard
- White paper
- String
- Scissors
- Glue
- Felt tips
How to make it:
1) Draw a circle on your card board and cut out two pieces. Drawer two circles the same size onto the white paper. Using your felt tips colour in the white circle with a pattern of your choice. You can do lines or spots, even animal faces.
2) Cut out your round circles
3) Stick your coloured in circles onto the cardboard
4) Make 2 holes in the center of your two circles. Cut two pieces of 70cm of string and push it through the holes. Burn the end of the string so it doesn’t fray and make a knot.
5)Have fun, spin in round and round then pull taught the yarn to see the circle spin.
