Even if there is no Ollivander in your home, you can still make your own personalised magic wand that comes straight out of the universe of the best known wizard in literature, in just two simple steps.
What you need:
- Bamboo chopsticks
- Brown acrylic paint (in several shades)
- A foam brush or a paint brush
- A glue gun
- A waterproofing spray
What to do
1. With the help of the glue gun, form patterns of your choice on one end of the bamboo chopstick to make the handle. Use hot glue and wait for it to dry completely.
2. Paint the chopsticks with several coats of acrylic paint with the aid of the paintbrush or foam brush. You can make it all the one colour or fade the colours into one another to give it a more ancient look. Once the paint is dry, spray the chopsticks with waterproofing spray.
